Résumé

La qualité d'un programme de formation pédagogique doit en dernière analyse se mesurer au succès de ses diplômés. L'étude dont nous rendons compte ici a consisté à évaluer les qualités pédagogiques d'un échantillon aléatoire de bacheliers en sciences de l'éducation de l'Université de Lethbridge et à faire le rapprochement entre divers facteurs de leur succès et le rendement que ces mêmes personnes ont fourni pendant leurs études universitaires. Il semble qu'il y ait un lien très net entre le succès à l'université et le succès dans l'enseignement bien que les différentes composantes du programme ne soient pas de bons indicateurs du succès ultérieur des enseignants.
