Loglinear Analysis: A New Tool for Educational Researchers

Dans un grand nombre de recherches en éducation, les données recueillies peuvent commodément être représentées sous la forme de tableaux de contingence multidimensionnels. Au cours des dernières années, plusieurs méthodes permettant une analyse holistique de tels tableaux et l'étude de divers types d'interaction ont été développées. L'une de ces méthodes est celle de l'analyse linéaire par transformation logarithmique (loglinear analysis). Le présent article tente de faire ressortir les concepts fondamentaux sur lesquels il s'appuie et illustre la méthode en présentant de nombreux exemples tirés d'une variété de situations de recherche en éducation.
